Portfolio 21 Investments was founded by the same individuals who are directors of the company today.
We are independent and majority owned by our employees. This independence gives us the autonomy to think for ourselves without the influence of outside shareholders or a parent company.
Our main office is located in the Ecotrust Natural Capital Center in Portland, Oregon--a building that serves as the hub for many environmental organizations and activities in one of the most sustainable cities in the country.
